Selection Guide

This guide will walk you through making selections of your product. You will want to take measurements of the Toilet walls (side walls and wall behind toilet), shower walls and bathtub walls and area. The fixtures are grouped by name, and finish. You can select either the name or metal finish. If you are running into questions, we are here to help. Please call or email us. 1. Grab bars

When selecting grab bars

  • Select one for each wall surrounding toilet
  • Select one for each wall of the shower and bathtub
  • Select grab bars that are similar in finish to the faucets in the bathroom
  • Select grab bars that have similar features and details to your existing faucets
  • Use mounting brackets for installing grab bars

2. Faucets

When selecting faucets

  • Select faucets with lever handles (all faucets featured on this website have lever faucet handles)
  • Select finish that matches existing fixtures in the bathroom
  • Select faucet that have similar features and details to other product in the bathroom
  • If replacing all fixtures select product in the same family grouping of product.

3. Shower Systems

When selecting a shower system

  • Select a shower handle that coordinates with other fixtures in the bathroom
  • Add a hand shower for ease of use for user especially if there are mobility issues and if there is a helper, this allows for better hygiene.
  • Add a bar to mount the hand shower on. This bar can also be used as a grab bar. This bar in installed vertically.
  • Select faucet that have similar features and details to other product in the bathroom.
  • Select finish that matches existing fixtures in the bathroom

4. Shower Seats

When selecting a shower seat

  • Check the weight of the users and select one that will support all users.
  • Select a seat that is wide enough for the user and allow a few extra inches for comfort.
  • If tremors or erratic movement occur on a regular basis, select the widest shower seat that will fit the width of the shower and allow the seat to fold up easily.
  • Note: We suggest using mounting brackets for mounting the seats.

5. Toilets

When selecting a toilet

  • Select a toilet that is the same color as your sink or bathtub
  • All toilets featured on this site are ADA recommended and comfort height

6. Accessories

When selecting accessories

  • Select accessories that are in the same group as your grab bars or faucets
  • Select accessories in same finish as the grab bars or faucets
  • Add a bar to mount the hand shower on. This bar can also be used as a grab bar. This bar in installed vertically.
  • Note: Grab bars and towel bars are not the same. You should not use a towel bar for a grab bar.
